Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Causabi (“Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Causabi.

2. Description of service

Causabi provides AI-search optimization analysis, scoring, monitoring, and recommendations for websites. The Service includes a web dashboard at ai.causabi.com, a WordPress plugin, and a Shopify app.

3. Account

  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to analyze or scrape content you do not own or have rights to.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or proprietary scoring logic.
  • Use automated scripts to generate excessive API requests (beyond your plan limits).
  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without a white-label agreement.
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes or in violation of any applicable law.

5. Plans and billing

  • Free plan: limited features, no credit card required.
  • Paid plans (Starter (formerly Growth), Pro, Agency, White Label): Starter is available monthly only; Pro, Agency, and White Label are available monthly or annually as described on the pricing page. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled case-by-case. Email founders@causabi.com within 7 days of a charge for refund consideration.
  • We may change prices with 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

6. API and integrations

API keys are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for all usage under your key. Rate limits apply per plan. Exceeding limits may result in temporary suspension of API access.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, algorithms, design, and content, is owned by Causabi and protected by copyright law. You retain ownership of your website content analyzed through the Service.

Open-source components of the Service are available under their respective licenses (see github.com/SHADRINMMM).

8. Data and privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI-based scores and recommendations are informational and not guaranteed to improve your search rankings.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Causabi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of Causabi's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
