Why every platform needs its own guide

Short answer: the steps themselves are the same everywhere — add Schema.org, open access for AI bots, publish llms.txt. But how you do them differs on every platform, and a generic 'edit your robots.txt' instruction is useless where robots.txt can't be edited at all. Each guide covers only what is actually achievable on your platform, and honestly names what isn't.

The spread is real. On WordPress everything installs via a plugin (Yoast, Rank Math or WPCode), with llms.txt uploaded to the site root over FTP. On Tilda robots.txt simply cannot be edited — and that's not fatal: Schema.org goes in as HTML head code, the FAQ is built with the T123 block, and most of the value ships by hand in 15 minutes. Webflow is the opposite pole: full robots.txt control, custom code and file uploads. On Squarespace, Code Injection requires the Business plan; on Nuvemshop and Tiendanube, theme code editing opens up from the Impulso plan.

AI builders (Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor, Claude Code) are the easiest case: you have code access or an agent that edits it for you — those guides give ready prompts and exact file paths so everything lands in one pass.

What each step actually does — honestly

Short answer: AI bot access is the hard prerequisite — without it nothing else matters. Markup helps models extract facts, but on its own it doesn't decide visibility: concrete facts on the page (prices, numbers, dates), freshness and confident wording do. llms.txt is hygiene, not a hack.

That's why no guide here promises 'top of ChatGPT in a week.' They close the technical layer — the part that can be checked and fixed. From there it's your content and brand mentions doing the work, and that is not a fifteen-minute job.

Don't see your platform?

Not a blocker. The files Causabi generates are plain HTML snippets and text files: they work on any platform that lets you insert head code or upload a file. The logic from these guides transfers: find your platform's equivalent of 'insert HTML into head' and the Schema.org and FAQ steps are already doable.

Start with the free check: it works for any site regardless of platform and shows what exactly is off — whether bots are blocked, whether markup is present, whether the page has enough concrete facts.
