Schema markup generator
Pick a type — FAQPage, Organization or LocalBusiness — fill in the fields and copy ready JSON-LD. Works in your browser, free, no signup.
Use the same questions and answers that visitors see on the page. Google’s rules ask that markup describe visible content.
Where to paste the code
Paste the whole <script> block inside <head> of the page it describes, or anywhere in <body>.
Use a plugin that adds code to the header, or your theme’s header.php before </head>. If an SEO plugin already outputs the same type, keep one of them.
Whole site: Site settings → Code insertion → HTML code for the head. One page: Page settings → Additional → HTML code for the head. Republish the pages afterwards (Tilda help).
Online Store → … → Edit code (Shopify help), open layout/theme.liquid — the layout that holds <head> (Shopify.dev) — and paste the block before </head>.

Good to know
- Mark up only what visitors can see. Google’s guidelines: “Don’t mark up content that is not visible to readers of the page” (guidelines).
- Since May 7, 2026 Google no longer shows FAQ rich results in Search (Google Search Central). FAQPage remains valid Schema.org; check it in the Schema Markup Validator.
- Google’s required fields: LocalBusiness — name and address; Organization — none, add what is relevant.

Questions
Does my data leave the browser?
No. The generator builds the JSON-LD in your browser, and what you type is not sent to Causabi or anyone else. We only count anonymous button clicks.
Which fields are required?
For LocalBusiness Google requires name and address. Organization has no required properties in Google’s docs; the generator asks for a name and website so the block identifies your company. FAQPage needs at least one question with its answer.
Will the markup get my site into AI answers?
Nobody can promise that. The markup describes your page to machines in a format they don’t have to guess. No AI service has published how it uses Schema.org when picking sources.
