Good to know
- Required fields follow Google’s structured data docs (checked 15 October 2026). Where Google lists none, a gap is a warning, not an error.
- Google’s rule: don’t mark up content that is not visible to readers of the page (guidelines). The text match checks exactly that. A hidden accordion still counts as visible here, because we read the HTML, not the screen.
- Since May 7, 2026 Google no longer shows FAQ rich results in Search. FAQPage stays valid Schema.org.
- For Google’s own verdict use the Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator.

Questions
What does this validator check?
It reads the JSON-LD on a page (or the code you paste), finds syntax errors, and checks required and recommended fields for FAQPage, Organization, LocalBusiness, Product, Article and BreadcrumbList. For a URL it also compares the markup with the text a visitor sees.
How is it different from Google’s Rich Results Test?
Google’s test tells you whether a page can get a Google rich result. This tool also asks whether the markup says what the page says: a question in FAQPage that is not on the page, a phone number nobody can see, a price that differs. It does not replace Google’s test or the Schema Markup Validator.
Does it run scripts on my page?
No. It downloads the HTML as the server sends it. If your markup is added by JavaScript after load, this tool will report none, and crawlers that do not run scripts will not see it either.
Does valid markup get me into AI answers?
Nobody can promise that. No AI service has published how it uses Schema.org when choosing sources. Valid markup that matches the page removes one source of confusion; it is not a ranking lever.
